Islamic Architecture & Identity
Islamic Architecture has always been perceived as works of art. The purpose of the building will always come behind the beauty of the design, An important part of this architecture is the exterior, It must be god worthy. But has Islamic architecture become lost against the modern day era of the world, along with the radical change in direction in which architecture is going or will it join with it?
The extent of detail in architectural styles rely a great deal on the appearance, But where as the medieval era carried a fortress feel around the designs, they have a sense of royalty around them and importance.
The buildings were more symbolic to their cities rather than just to attract attention, they would carry more meaning behind the designs.

As the tribes knowledge has developed so did the architecture, which soon meant experimenting into various patterns and there signature style for detail. The patterns were often floral instead of pictures of humans and animals in case of any offense or being deceived in the wrong way.
